The Trust is an organisation that aims to improve the quality of life for residents, visitors and homeowners on Enfield Island Village, in the London Borough of Enfield. It is a not for profit organisation run by local residents for local residents. For example:
· In our community centre we host activities and groups aimed at improving life on the Island and bringing people together.
· We work closely with organisations such as the police, council, water and parks authorities to fight for the interests of local residents and we sponsor crime reduction initiatives.
· We own and look after local canals and parkland, footpaths and cycleways so they can be used for leisure and recreation by everyone on the Island.
· We run projects ranging from graffiti removal to refurbishment of local public canals and buildings.
