The Community Centre at Enfield Island Village is available for public hire. It is the perfect venue for your club, party, or meeting.

Located in the heart of Enfield Island Village, the Community Centre boasts a space of 175 m² (1,900 ft²) with an equipped kitchen and separate male & female toilets. It holds up to 120 people standing and 60 seated making it ideal for personal celebrations as well as being a great space to host clubs and meetings.

The hall is heated and has air conditioning.

Directions

From the Island Centre car park, take the path on the left of the Tesco. Keep walking to the end and turn right (you will have reached the gym and library). After passing the library entrance, take the first right. The community centre is accessible through the grey double doors.

Please note the Trust office is located at the next door down, through the metal gate towards the centre of the courtyard (entry by appointment only).

The travel instructions below are from the car park.

Travel

Car: The Island Centre’s car park outside the Tesco offers free parking. Use postcode EN3 6GS if using navigation. Access to Island Centre Way past the bollards for loading / unloading is not permitted.

Bus: Bus numbers 121 or 491. Exit the bus on the Causeway Bridge River Lee. Continue along the bridge towards the water tower and turn right onto Burton Drive.

Train: Alight at Enfield Lock station and either take the 121 bus or walk east (towards the side of the station with the ticket office) along Ordnance Road. At the junction with Mollison Avenue, continue east on Smeaton Road. Continue over the bridge towards the water tower, and turn right onto Burton Drive.
